  I have been practicing Yoga for several years now and even though I did not yet completed my formal yoga teacher training, I have started to take over classes for more than two years now. I love to challenge the class to try out difficult poses and build up strength and stamina with strong flows. I really like to teach headstands and handstands and help the participants to overcome their fear of inversions and arm balances.

  Hatha yoga became part of my life many years ago, as I was a chemistry student at the Novosibirsk State University in Russia. I was trained in a tradition of the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, which established a solid foundation for my teaching style. But I enthusiastically mix different influences, deliberately bringing elements from “exterior”, non-yogic fields into my classes. I believe there exists an approach to explain yoga basics to everyone, thus I opt for simple but precise instructions on a physical alignment and action as we perform yoga asanas.

Yoga wirkt wohltuend auf Körper, Geist und Seele. Verspannungen lösen sich, neue Energie wird aufgetankt. Der Geist wird ruhiger und gelassener. Es entsteht eine Harmonie und innere Ausgeglichenheit, welche sich positiv auf den Alltag und das Berufsleben auswirkt.

Ich unterrichte Yoga in der Tradition von Swami Sivananda, die ich bei Yoga Vidya erlernt habe. Über Mittag lege ich grossen Wert auf die Entspannungselemente.
